Arleen has been fortunate to be
taught by many of the worlds pre-eminent yoga teachers and her classes are a reflection of this. We are committed to providing our students
with new ways to explore their practice. Currently we have two types of classes Hot Yoga
Series, and Hot Lean Yogalattes, and plan to offer more diversity in the
coming months. We feel this is important to stimulate, challenge and inspire your yoga practice
THE BENEFITS OF HOT YOGA PHYSICAL;
The yoga postures (asanas) are designed to work internally and externally. Internally, improvements to the heart, spleen,
kidneys, liver and intestines are realised through consistent practice. Externally the joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments
are made stronger. MENTAL;
Hot Yoga helps to create a calming of the mind, quieting of the brains chatter and a deep relaxation response. As in all forms
of yoga the mind is strengthened through the discipline of Hot Yoga which can help to eliminate stress, depression and anxiety . SPIRITUAL; As we strengthen the body and calm the mind we open ourselves up for a transformational
experience. The intention behind Hot Yoga is to balance the body, quiet the mind and nourish the soul. THE HEAT ( HOT YOGA) The room is heated to warm your muscles, prevent
injuries and allow for a deeper release in your body. Sweating will also help to flush toxins from your body.
